Get into the festive spirit in the Christmas room at the Waimate Museum & Archives, where the Douglas school room has been transformed into a Christmas wonderland!

Enjoy the christmassy smell of the live Christmas tree - make a decoration and bring it to add to the tree or make a note for a loved one that can't be with you, to put on the tree.

The kids can send a letter to Santa from the Christmas mailbox. A motorised ride on electric train set will also be operating.

There will be a firewood raffle and a Christmas cushion raffle for sale, plus a small table of Christmas gifts for sale.

Entry is by gold coin donation, with proceeds going to the Museum.
