Returns Policy
If you receive a faulty product, you are covered for 90 days after the original purchase date if there is a defect, fault or failure due to the manufacturing process. If you discover a fault in a product purchased through Explore Waimate, contact our team by emailing promotions@waimatedc.govt.nz and let us know the fault.
We will send the item at fault back to our supplier for further investigation. We will exchange the faulty item with a replacement, or if there is no replacement available we will provide a full refund.
All postage costs incurred to get the goods back to us, will not be covered by us immediately. However, after inspection of the returned goods, the postage fees may be refunded back. We recommend that you use a courier service as we are not responsible for items that are not received.
Unfortunately, we cannot cover a fault or damage caused by wear and tear, improper use or accident. Nor do we provide refunds when an item does not fit or when you don't like an item.

Shipping Policy
All product prices on Explore Waimate are given in New Zealand Dollars ($NZD) and are shown inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST), however are exclusive of delivery costs.
We use NZ Couriers (non-signature required tracked courier).
Orders are processed once your payment has cleared. Admin and shipping is done Monday to Thursday. Orders shipped via NZ Couriers typically arrive within 3 business days after you have received notification of shipment via email (Monday to Thursday, not including public holidays). Please note if you are shipping to a rural address, your parcel may take longer to arrive.
All orders placed on Thursday after 1:00 p.m. will be processed on the following Monday. We charge a flat rate of $10 within New Zealand for tracked courier.
We currently only ship within New Zealand. If you are overseas and would like to purchase a product, please contact our team by emailing promotions@waimatedc.govt.nz.
