Glenavy Hotel opened in 1889 and is still going strong.

We are a small country hotel in the heart of Glenavy township, 15 minutes south of Waimate.  Our township is next to the beautiful Waitaki River.  

Our pub is renowned for hospitality for travellers, whitebaiters, salmon fisherman and local storytellers. 

We have accommodation and food available, and are very proud of our heritage - this has been a family business for close to 40 years.

The Studholme Junction Hotel
